Do we do this? What if application is incomplete and public notice has not been published / posted?
replies
?
replies
How would it be done?
replies
depends on the type of permit being revoked or rescinded. if the sup is being revoked, we usually need a formal letter of rescission from the og applicant or we ask the pcpc to schedule it for a formal declaration of abandonment (17.140.070 Establishment of Special Uses: Administrative Reviews)
replies
instead of director, maybe write the planning department or staff
replies
in reply to JRWags's comment
should we formalize it with an actual letter of request or is a comment of opengov sufficient?
replies
in reply to howardca's comment
i like having categories but not getting too descriptive within those categories bc like carmen said, those agencies change with each project.
replies
i like having this in writing bc we do get citizens that try to apply years after their sketch plan meeting
replies
in reply to Petersm's comment
maybe change language to sketch plan meeting or we change our open gov name to preapp for consistency
replies
we usually don't get this detailed; we don't usually ask their closing dates and stuff
replies
we don't have anything called a preapplication meeting. we have a sketch plan process outlined in 16.08. i think 1041's are the only processes that use the preapp language

Question
Is there a specific time-frame which the County is required to publish the notice?
replies
Question
Does it matter if it's working hours?
replies
Question
Have we heard back from Marci re requirement to post in newspaper?
replies
Question
How is the request made? Should the request for extention process be delineated here?
replies
Suggestion
It should be specific to electronic .pdf version of documents.
replies
Why not a PUD as well?
replies
Public Works and Marci

How do you get tenant information? We use the assessor's info which does not include tenant info only property owner. We can mail to physical addresses, however many rural addresses use PO boxes.
